Commission portrait I done recently. I enjoy painting portraits, finding things that define the person and painting them realistically. It's always important to me not only to draw face features but also to capture the personality. This is something that I truly enjoy in portraits.
Anna is an artist in Biotechnology and constant inspiration for me. She is passionate about fungi and evolution. I hope that some day soon she can create a team of her own. She is so full of energy, ideas and always look for ways to resolve problems - both on scientific and management level. After working in best institutes in Poland and cooperating with scientists all around the world she is on the best way to success. I keep my fingers crossed for her. You can see articles on PubMed to know exactly what she is up to, but those are scientific papers so be warned :D
Anna loves scotch terriers too and I had some trouble putting fungi and terrier into one illustration. Hope you like the result.
I've been working on some other thing but it will take some more time so I done this to relax a bit. It came out much much better then usual, I applied some strong rules Thierry gave us during the workshop and it worked wonders.
I've been listening to 'Prist' movie recently (I tend to listen to movies while drawing) and that is why I drew Paul Bettany. 1h drawing + 15 min adding textures and all. Hope you like it :)
I'm working on my new portfolio. This is one of locations I made recently. I pushed this one almost to final version (it needs some more details but I want to create more game design before I draw it in). It is all in layers. Location is ready for moving lights, clouds etc.,smoke and fire effects. Everything basic for HOPA (hidden object puzzle adventure) game location.
Now it is time to write down the design I have for this game and draw some more concepts. I've been so into my new way of thinking while drawing that I find it difficult to stop with a rough version :)
I said it before but I must say it again - Imaginism Studio Workshop was a huge step ahead for me and I think it shows in my work.
